I'm a 47 year old Mother of 3 who even as a Personal Trainer for almost 20 years has lost herself to "Mom Guilt" + the good ole "I don't have time." Seasons of life. Especially when my oldest baby went off to college, I lost my sense of purpose and had the worse case of, "now what?" We as MOTHERS give our all to our children, but what about us??? What happens when our babies are self sufficient and don't rely heavily on us or when they go off to college? I learned that we are NOT SUPPOSED TO SHRIVEL AND DIE! This is the time when we have to keep moving as our body changes + ages. HEALTH is WEALTH! For me, working out empowers me, motivates me to be my BEST self and shows my children that making promises to yourself + taking care of yourself is just as important as doing it for others. When I feel good, I am able to do GOOD and it becomes a ripple effect on everyone I encounter. It's a VIBE and it's infectious.
